What Happens Next?
Initial Survey
Glide Energy are experts in installing solar battery storage systems in Lancashire & Manchester. The first step in your solar journey is for one of our Engineers to call round to survey your property
What does this involve?
We will look at some of the following things to provide a quote:

Your electricity supply & the existing condition of your electrics

The suitabilty of your roof, take information for structural calcs.

Discuss and decide on a suitable position for equipment.

Explain our membership obligations to you, MCS, RECC and explain warranties & guarantees.
Your Quote
We will issue your MCS compliant quote to you which will include the following:

An estimate of your system's performance using approved MCS methodology.

The cost of your system with a calculated payback period.
-
If you're happy with your quote then we can issue your Renewable Energy Consumer Code contract.

This details your protection and rights under the consumer code.
-
​Once we have agreed your order then we can organize at date to install your system
Installation of your system
We will arrange for scaffolding to be erected a few days or the day before to enable your new solar panels to installed
What does this involve?

Installation of the roof hook mounting system
-
Fitting and wiring of solar panels
-
Installation of inverter in agreed position
-
Fitting of batteries if also ordered
-
Upon completion, full commissioning and testing of systems

Clean up of work areas
-
Site demonstration of operation including set up of remote monitoring smartphone app
Handover
We will issue your MCS compliant handover pack which will include the following:

Manufacturer's equipment information / manuals.

All relevant test paperwork / certificates.
-
Procedures to start / shutdown your system.
-
Warranty paperwork.
-
Building Control notification (normally sent to you by e-mail from building control)
